We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
At the Chattanooga Center for Comprehensive Dentistry, we are privileged to have a fantastic team of health care providers to help you with your individual needs. Caring for each patient’s individual comfort and needs is our staff’s number one priority. Each staff member has been trained with the latest techniques in dental care, as well as safety and first aid. Cheryl Carico | Insurance Coordinator/Bookkeeper
Wife to Paul Carico and mother to Trey Carico, Che has been the Center for Comprehensive Dentistry’s patient liaison with insurance companies for over 25 years! She works tirelessly to procure any and all available benefits from a patient’s insurance plan. Away from the Center, Che’ closely follows the lives of her three sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren. She is a tireless member of the Signal Mountain Playhouse Board, working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that the “show will go on.” She also is an avid hiker. Not only is she the leader of the Wednesday group of the Chattanooga Hiking Club, but has also completed nearly all of the hiking trails in southeast Tennessee, southwest North Carolina, northern Georgia, northern Alabama, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Melissa Whitmire | Scheduling/Financial Coordinator
Melissa has been in the dental field for 15 years. She has had the pleasure of being part of the Chattanooga Center for Comprehensive Dentistry team where she has worked as a Dental Assistant, Insurance Coordinator, and Financial Coordinator. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and relaxing with her favorite TV shows and movies. Melissa loves building relationships with others and helping make every patient’s experience as comfortable and positive as possible.
Ashley | Dental Hygienist
Ashley Rodriguez, BS, RDH, FADHA, is a dedicated clinician at the Chattanooga Center for Comprehensive Dentistry. With extensive leadership experience, she has served multiple terms as President of the CDHA, Vice President and Speaker of the House for the TNDHA, and as a Tennessee Delegate for the ADHA. She is also a multi-term member of the Chattanooga State Advisory Board for the Dental Hygiene program. Her professional accolades include the 2010 Colgate STAR award, selection as an inaugural member of the 2023 ADHA Professional Fellows Program, and the 2024 ADHA Irene Newman Outstanding Clinician award. Furthermore, she is recognized annually by the TNDHA for completing over 40 continuing education hours, achieving 93.5 CE hours in 2024 alone. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. It is an honor to have her as part of the Chattanooga Center for Comprehensive Dentistry team!
Anslee | Dental Assistant
After attending Dental Staff School, Anslee will obtain her RDA in November of 2026. Until then, she is working the front desk while simultaneously training in the back of our office. She loves being able to help with the process of making a patient truly confident in their smile! Outside of the office, Anslee spends her time chasing around her 1.5-year-old and hiking with their dog.
Lindsey | Patient Coordinator
As our newest patient coordinator, Lindsey welcomes patients and helps to make every visit to our office a positive experience. She’ll most likely be the voice you hear when you give us a call. Lindsey is a graduate of UTC and before joining the dental team, she spent her days teaching 2nd and 3rd grade. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking and spending time outdoors with her husband and four-legged friends!
Martha | Dental Assistant
Martha graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2022 and Chattanooga State Community College’s Dental Assisting program in 2025, where she earned her RDA license. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and welcome in our office. Outside of work, Martha loves cooking, baking, antiquing, and traveling.
